Research

The AMAG Medical Institute encourages important, clinically relevant, robust scientific research through its support of Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR). The guiding principles for the evaluation of ISR at AMAG:

• There is a robust hypothesis that addresses an important question
• The study incorporates a design approach that addresses the hypothesis
• The analysis plan has endpoints appropriate for the design given the working hypothesis
• The investigator has the capability and experience to perform excellent research in a timely and quality fashion

We are currently accepting proposals for research in the following areas:

• Kidney disease
• Anemia
• Iron metabolism and related diseases

The process begins with a request for an application. Following submission of your application, a thorough review will occur within 30 days. We will then contact you to inform you of the decision of the review team, or to request additional information. To request an application, please send an email to research@amagpharma.com.

Education

AMAG is a strong believer in sound medical education and accordingly considers requests for grants in support of Independent Medical Education (IME). To submit a request for IME funding please email grants@amagpharma.com.
