Ferumoxytol

Ferumoxytol is the key product candidate in our development pipeline. If approved by the FDA we believe ferumoxytol could be an effective iron replacement therapy for chronic kidney disease (CKD), patients whether or not on dialysis.

The Company submitted a New Drug Application to the FDA for ferumoxytol as an iron replacement therapeutic in December of 2007.

Ferumoxytol is also a blood pool agent which means that, among other things, it is a true intravascular contrast agent that remains in the blood stream for an extended period of time.
