A message to healthcare providers, staff and patients:

During this time of heightened concern regarding COVID-19, we want to provide you with timely updates on our plans to do our part and share the steps we’re taking to ensure healthcare providers and patients continue to receive uninterrupted support from AMAG Pharmaceuticals.

We are focused on keeping employees and our communities safe and have instituted a work from home policy through April 3, in order to help slow the spread of COVID-19. An AMAG Task Force has been formed to monitor this evolving situation and determine if this time period needs to be extended.

As such, sales representatives and medical science liaisons (MSLs) will not be visiting provider offices or institutions, which we believe is important to help protect patient health and facilitate providers’ attention to direct patient care during this challenging situation.

AMAG currently markets Makena®, Feraheme®, Vyleesi® and Intrarosa®. All remain available to patients. Our supply chain has not been affected by this situation and AMAG continues to closely monitor supply levels and will work diligently to mitigate disruption to patients, should any arise. Our patient support hubs for Makena and Feraheme remain available, as well as our copay programs for Vyleesi and Intrarosa. If providers or patients have questions, please call a Care Manager at the respective patient support program or specialty pharmacy noted below.

Providers can reach their sales representatives and MSLs via phone with requests.  These employees will also be reaching out to provider offices via email to inquire if there are any needs they can fulfill remotely.
